First Aid at Work

This course is designed for people who want to receive thorough first aid training and is especially suited for nominated workplace first aiders looking to gain comprehensive approval.

This course is legally compliant with the current Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981. It is strongly recommended that you update your skills by taking an annual refresher.

Aims and Objectives

This course provides the comprehensive set of practical skills needed to become a confident first aider at work, giving you both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies.

Paediatric First Aid

This course meets OFSTED requirements and is tailored to the specific needs of all staff that come under the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework – this includes child minders, nursery staff and teachers.

This two day (12 hour) course is delivered at your school, by professional instructors with many years experience in trauma and pre hospital care, and includes both theory and practical sessions. This course can also be taken as a blended learning course (1 day classroom, 1 day online)

Aims and Objectives

To provide learners with the knowledge and skills to summon help and give safe, prompt and effective emergency aid to children.

Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

This 2 hour course is designed for candidates who wish to be trained in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) machine. Candidates must be physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the course outline and must attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment.
